If you are starting a new site today, I would go with SEOPress. The free version is complete, it includes IndexNow for Bing, it is less pushy about upgrades, and it is light enough to not cause problems on budget hosting.
If you are already on Yoast and everything is working fine, do not switch just because you read this. There is no reason to break something that is not broken.
